Description:
Established in 1980, HomeAgain provides emergency shelter and transitional housing for Richmond’s men, women, children and veterans who have no place to live. HomeAgain also connects clients to community resources and assists them in developing the skills necessary to obtain and maintain permanent housing. At the Espigh Family Shelter (2 E. Main St.), we’ll provide structured activity for children while parents attend classes. Art/craft projects, games, general positive attention. Great project for those who love children and those who are kids at heart. The HomeAgain Espigh Family Shelter is looking for small groups of positive, fun teens (5 - 7 individuals) aged 12 - 18 to come and play board games or do arts and crafts projects with the children while their parents attend classes. Minimum age to volunteer is: 12 In order to participate in this project each volunteer under the age of 18 will need to sign a Youth Waiver Form that can be found below. Please fax it to HandsOn prior to the project date or bring it with you to the project location.
