Description:
You are invited by the City of Richmond 4-H program to volunteer during the 4-H Junior Camp for 9-13 year olds (August 2-6, 2010). Campers leave the City of Richmond by chartered bus on Monday morning and return Friday morning. 4-H camp offers children a fun, safe, and challenging experience.
In order to make 4-H Camp a fun, safe, and supervised camping experience, we need responsible adult volunteers to help supervise camp games and activities during the day and evening.
Each camp group consists of 180 campers, administrative, staff, qualified and trained college students, certified life guards, emergency medical technicians, full service cafeteria staff, adult volunteers, teen counselors, and professional Cooperative Extension staff from York County and Richmond City.
Minimum age to volunteer: 20
