A Grace Place enhances the lives of adults and their caregivers by providing individually-focused daytime services to support community based living.
We are looking for Green Thumbs and loving teachers to aid our client members with tending to our indoor plants and selected planters in our outdoor patio garden. You will work with participants in our Memory Support Unit, who live with Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia. Our clients are here Monday through Friday, and gardening projects are best between 9:00am and 1pm.
Skills Needed: Knowledge of plants and gardening. Patience and the willingness to work with adults with chronic and/or age-related conditions.
Minimum age to volunteer: 16 years old
