We provide programs across the lifespan for over 1600 individuals each year, including early pediatric intervention, after-school care, weekend respite and emergency respite, adult day support and vocational training and placement programs. Inclusionary community activities are critical in the lives of persons with disabilities. Since 1954, the Greater Richmond ARC has helped thousands of Central Virginians born with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families balance work with recreation, skills with satisfaction and needs with wants and dreams.
